Idea For Africa: Non-Profits That Use African Labor, and Provide Free Services That Can Be Provided At Advanced Levels to Wealthier African Customers For Money

I have been thinking about what I would do if I ran a non-profit in Africa.

A couple of things that might be a good idea:

1)  Run a security service that protects people in Africa from terrorists and other violent criminals.

2) Operate a service that provides quarantining and medical/educational support about STDs in certain areas of Africa to help stop the spread of AIDS and other diseases

What I thought of was this:  There's no reason why, when running organizations like that, that you couldn't hire a large number of people from Africa who are looking for work.  This can help to forge connections within the economy of Africa.

The second step in forging connections is, trying to find some possible paying customers for the services your non-profit is doing.  The idea is, devise a "great service" that you can provide, and include African laborers in your organization...and then include possible wealthier Africans as customers, who pay for advanced versions of your service in a way that makes your non-profit operate almost like a small business founded by Africans.

For example, you could offer "enhanced body guard service" to Africans who are willing to pay your organization for extra security.  Also, if you have a service that uses some medical professionals, such as nurses and doctors, you could simply offer "general practitioner services" to Africans who can pay.

The idea is to "multiply the impact" of your service by having the non-profit operate a little bit like a business.  Revenues are collected, salaries are paid...and the economy grows because of it, and your beneficial service adds its value to the community.

The two things to do, again, are:  1). Recruit African laborers, and 2).  Offer advanced services that your "non-profit unit" has the capabilities to provide to paying customers with more money to spare.
