Quick Thoughts On AI: A Bulleted List

Here are my thoughts on how modern AI works, or at least could work:

1.  The English language is a programming language.  My belief is, Google, ChatGPT, and other big AI companies all have developed at least one programming language that uses subjects, verbs, direct objects, and other grammatical concepts to act very much like English in terms of what it can say and do.

2.  English, and all other programming languages, have these things in common:  1)  They are all "database languages," that involve what descriptive complexity theorists would call "queries" operating on "databases" or "structures," and 2)  Every single sentence in any language, natural or programming, is one of these three things:  a)  query, b)  command, c)  axiom.

I believe that AI companies all know #1, even though they don't talk about it.  I think that #2 might not be as well-known, though.
