More Mentalizing Regarding the End Date
If it's July 30, then it's 250 years and 26 days after July 4, 1776.
It could be a reference to the US Constitution, including all of my rights that were violated. Maybe the people think that the government can't do anything about it, because it's a violation of Constitutional rights and they can't think of what crime they would be charged with. I can: Obstruction of Justice for one.
Maybe the bad guys' analysis is, innocent people go to jail all the time, and some of them are black, but BLM hasn't targeted them and the DOJ hasn't arrested them in certain other similar cases that they believe to be the same thing. Maybe that's why someone mentioned Kurt Vonnegut...the claim is, it shouldn't matter if I have a chess rating of 2500 at arguing, my protection to certain other people that this has been done to should be the same, they reason. The people who have done this think, they really *are* too subtle to be arrested, and the coast is clear, and I'm the same thing as so-and-so that they also did this to.
I think the comment is, this case is different because of the motive. They are doing it based on hatred of disabled people, and foreign espionage...but the bad guys think, no one can prove that. I think the comment is, the ordinary safeguards that protect everyone from being prosecuted incorrectly were breached and damaged, so people are wondering why the coast is clear. Ordinarily, the case would have been dropped right after I was charged.
Also, there's the "pedo-bear" theory. If these guys are Russian spies, what exactly are they after? Money? Or access to something evil that they think that only a foreign government could provide them with?
Anyway, I'm tired of thinking about this right now. I suspect the people who do this have some vague, hand-wavy idea that "oh yeah that happens to a lot of people all the time," and they don't understand that wrongful convictions are fought very aggressively in all cases, regardless of ethnicity.
