A Quick Comment on My Essentialist Price Change Equilibrium Idea

The quick comment is:  I am claiming that it never happens that a consumer wants to buy X copies of a particular item, A, and then later changes her mind to buy Y copies of a particular item, B, *instead of* of the X copies of A, *when B is less expensive than A.*  In other words, consumers will always buy the cheaper good instead of the more expensive good initially, and the consumer will never change her mind regarding having purchased A earlier in the priorities list when B was already available for a cheaper price.  There is no subsequent purchase after the purchase of A that would lead to B being purchased instead of A, because B was already cheaper than A, so, critically, if B was preferred to A to such an extent that the consumer would have purchased B instead of A at some point, the consumer would have just bought B sooner in the priority list beforehand, rather than trying to replace A with B later on in the priorities list.
