A Few More Random Comments Before Bed

So, my Myers-Briggs type is either INTJ or INTP.  Recently, I've become very serious about reasoning out what choices to make.  I don't just go with my feelings any more.  My feeling play a role, but I try to be strategic about what things I'm going to do.  I'm not totally sure about J vs. P.  I think I'm more of a J, just because I don't notice everything and have a tendency to "render verdicts" about things so to speak, rather than developing huge understandings.  I strive for the achievement, not the intellectual/perceptive mastery, when it comes to a challenge.

I'm introverted based on my "appetite for socializing," which is basically "already rather full," and thus introverted.  I read about that sort of thing, although the "appetite" idea is mine, from "Me Myself and Us" by Brian R. Little, the psychologist.  I'm an N because I'm very intuitive and look for patterns.  That's what makes me good at math and economics--my intuition.  University math did help my intuition improve, for math anyway.

In terms of the five-factor model, my type read-out would be, I believe:  Low Openness to Experience, High Conscientiousness, Low Extraversion, High Agreeableness, High Neuroticism.  To me, that means:  Easily bored and not into trying "new things" that much, Very serious about understanding how work should be done and doing that work properly, quiet/"socially full" often, accommodating and trying to avoid conflict / "be a pushover" rather than get in an unnecessary fight when possible, and, "easily upset."
