A Cool Idea I Thought of Before Going To Sleep
So, the Innocence Project is very important. I just thought to myself, "What if someone started a TV show based on the Innocence Project?" I.e., something like American Idol, but for people who are accused of crimes. In particular, if it were a show on national television, it would force police departments and prosecutors to clean up their act quickly...one wrong accusation against an innocent man or woman, and it would be all over the media--beyond front page news, it would be something people watch for entertainment.
I think it's a good idea. Shark Tank is out there for people who want to watch and learn about businesses. For people who are concerned about criminal justice and wrongful incarceration, why not start a TV show based on claimed criminals, where the person can try to claim their innocence and the police can be investigated by the show?
That's not the most brilliant idea I have ever thought of, but I thought I would share it. I am feeling a little better now that I have taken my meds. The day to day challenges won't be as bad as I make them sound to myself. I'll be fine...worst-case scenario, I'll have to quit my job due to transportation issue, and I'll still likely get the $900 or so a month from disability income. So I'll be able to get a lawyer someday, probably. The question is, will that help? I will probably email Justin Brooks and see if he will write back and help me after I have enough income to consider approaching a lawyer with the intent to hire a lawyer.
I just need to relax!
