A Comment On My Pareto Optimality Theorem
One way to respect game theorists is to respect yourself while doing game theory.
I will not answer ignorant questions that would make, e.g., Eva Tardos feel offended if she were asked such an ignorant question. My theorem can be proved and I found a proof and it’s in my notes. You should find the proof yourself with my hint. If you can’t, try some examples to convince yourself that it’s true, I did that also.
The most important thing for a lay person to understand is: the meaning of a Pareto optimal strategy. An informal and imprecise approximation of its meaning is , “somebody wins” in the game. More precisely it means there are no Pareto improvements that are possible. A Pareto improvement is when one person can improve without making anyone else worse off.
In the Israeli Palestinian conflict, I do not model Russia as an actor in the conflict. That says, Russia is a nature player. The goal is to help Israeli and Palestinian actors to develop at least one true winner/beneficiary in the conflict.
Final comment: I don’t totally oppose AI. Many game theorists will/would understand why I choose to say that.
